When you think of Forbes Magazine you think about Billionaires, Dow Jones, and big tech companies taking over other big tech companies.

Until now…

Forget Billionaires (except Damian Lewis, feel free to think about Damian Lewis – see HBO), now when you think Forbes you’ll think illumiNITE.

Recently, the talented, and clearly brilliant, Allison Olmsted (a.k.a. the Gear Diva) included illumiNITE in an article about “High-Visibility Performance Gear” on Forbes.com. (You’ll find us at #4.) Allison wrote:

“IllumiNITE likely has the greatest selection of reflecting clothing accessories, for running, cycling, walking, and presumably any outdoor activity where you need to be visible, in any season and weather condition, as well as workwear. They also have a large of collection of accessories including caps, warm hats, ear bands, neck gators, gloves, mittens and helmet covers. IllumiNITE, based in the historic textile manufacturing city Fall River, Mass., claims to be the first company in the U.S. to provide a reflective product that joined performance, comfort, and safety all in one. IllumiNITE’s fabrics utilize their patented technology wherein millions of mirror-like beads create a reflecting surface. The reflecting properties are hidden by day and revealed at night in headlights.”

Thanks Allison for the nice write-up and including illumiNITE in the feature. Just FYI, we don’t claim to be the first company in the U.S. to provide a reflective product that joined performance, comfort, and safety all in one. We ARE the first company, and we’ll continue to lead the way in quality, performance, and safety for our amazing customers.

Thank you illumiNITE customers and fans for continuing to believe in this little company from historic Fall River, Massachusetts. We promise fame won’t go to our heads.
