Hey Virginia…

Oh, the weather outside is frightful….”

Maybe not everywhere, but here in New England we’ve already had a taste of winter weather. That’s why illumiNITE is Virginia bound this weekend to more seasonable (we hope!) weather for the Anthem Richmond Marathon in Richmond.

Known as “America’s Friendliest Marathon,” the race was named by the Daily Burn as one of the 15 best fall marathons. In its 38th year, the Richmond Marathon is a good race for first timers intimidated by some of the other fall events (New York, Chicago).

Race reviews are great, and many runners like the junk food stops at miles 16 and 22 (gummy bears and soda are pure carb-magic), and access to wet washcloths (nice touch). It really is “America’s Friendliest Marathon!”

illumiNITE will join the Allianz Global Assistance Health & Fitness Expo on Thursday night, November 12th from 5pm-9pm, and all day Friday, November 13th from 11am-9pm.

We’re friendly too, so stop by and say hello. Check out our winter gear (because like or not, winter is coming). Mention this blog and win a prize.

See you in Richmond.
