Pets Make You Healthy – It’s in a study so it must be true!

The folks here at illumiNITE love pets (especially the dog variety).  In fact, Sue’s dog Jack (a.k.a our Vice-President of canine communications) often appears in the company catalog.  Not only are dogs wonderful companions, they’re also good for us.

A study published by the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology claims that owning a pet helps reduce blood pressure, boost fitness, reduce cardiovascular disease, prevent allergies in children, and relieve depression. Wow!
