Even in the cold and snow, running is still a favorite activity for many. Running in the winter has its downside – black ice, snowy sidewalks, and for me, super tight muscles. According to people who know about this stuff, yoga is a good addition to a runner’s workout routine.
Yoga improves flexibility, and strengthens and lengthens muscles. Plus it feels pretty good. Runner’s World Magazine claims that yoga, “can help you run more efficiently and stay injury-free.”
